The idea for @InMyShoesSG stemmed from a problem I felt I could fix. A few girls from the girls home attending track training did not have sport shoes. But then I found out there were many more youth in Singapore didn’t have shoes to play sport. I was shocked.

Together with James, In My Shoes was launched. With the help of many wonderful friends, and volunteer-turn-friends, IMS has given out over 1000 pairs of shoes. Even as operations slowed due to Covid, we still managed to make some positive impact by getting shoes to foreign workers who needed proper footwear to stay active when they were moved to alternative accommodation.

Nothing IMS has accomplished would have been possible if not for all the people who we have crossed paths with. For donating shoes, volunteering their time, connecting us with someone they thought needed shoes... truly, nothing can stop what we can do together.
